D.W. Nicol — Woodworking
Dave studied the time-honored craft of woodworking for 16 years, including
an apprenticeship with the old style German woodworking masters from the
Frankenmuth area. Twenty years later, he has built a reputation as a quality,
detail-oriented craftsman who can bring out the beauty and value of virtually
any wood.
One of Dave’s specialties is
handcrafting custom, exterior wood doors. He has
constructed beautiful doors for a variety of churches,
libraries, and new and vintages homes. He has painstakingly
created doors of various shapes and sizes, from nearly
all domestic wood types.
He
also specializes in custom-designed furniture units,
such as wall units and entertainment centers. Dave
can also create units using a variety of domestic
woods, including old growth or vintage lumber.
